Abstract

This paper study the solar panels cleaning technologies in the current time analyse the advantages and disadvantages of the existing systems and extract technical facts from the various systems. The study conducts a new proposal concept in the cleaning technology by using the emerged trend technology of drones, which provided the mobility for the cleaning systems. A possible solution for the cleaning issues discovered with the aid of Drones technology will provide a method of overcoming the movement issue and complex installation for the robotic systems. Using a handheld robot that uses an air blower to remove dust and other accumulated particles may furnish a possible solution that needs to be prototyped and tested for efficiency and panel surface implications. The study provides a theoretical approach for such solution from the existing technology components. The components selection study details are throughout the paper and include the technical specifications for each component. The study considers the other possible solution of moving autonomous cleaning robots by drones from a row of the panel to the other to handle the movement limitations issue.
