The research study about “ASSET MANAGEMENT OF PROPULSION SYSTEMS FOR LARGE SHIPS” has been conducted by using the primary and secondary research method. At the beginning level of the research study, the research objectives, aims and questions are described in details followed by the structure of the dissertation. In the literature review section of the research work, the basic concepts of the asset management system for the propulsion systems of large ships have been analyzed. The research methodology of the research work has been chosen with respect to the research area with proper justification. Then the primary and secondary data of the research study has been gathered from the previous research papers i.e., secondary data.
