Benchmarking Asset Management Plans for Large Scale PV Power Plants in Australia

Manjunath, Naveen (2018) Benchmarking Asset Management Plans for Large Scale PV Power Plants in Australia. Coursework Masters thesis, University of Southern Queensland. (Unpublished)

Abstract

This research evaluates the current policies and develop a best practice asset management plan for large scale PV Power Plants in Australia. In order to improve the energy supply of large scale PV power plants developing rapidly. Management has become a big issue to improve the efficiency in large scale PV Power plants in Australia. This research paper has addressed the issue and provided a best possible solution by benchmarking the asset management plans implemented for Large scale PV Power Plants in Australia. From the study it has been found that due to lack of clear policies and without having proper Asset management planning, Australia is lagging in the production of solar energy than Europe and Asian countries. The proposed benchmarking will provide a best possible solution by understanding the current policies of individual solar PV plants and gives the way towards the improvement of large scale asset management capabilities.
