Abstract
This project reports the findings from the study into CNT based nanocomposites. Due to declining resources of Indium tin oxide, researchers and engineers all over the world have worked on developing novel materials for touch screen. The project studies the potential of CNT based capacitive touch screens. This research presents a possible design method and model for a CNT based Nanocomposite using ANSYS and results from Thermal, Deformation and Transient thermal test. The results obtained showed that the proposed CNT based composite is anisotropic and potential as a window film. The testing results of deformation also showed that the composite will withstand exposure to solar heat, hence the functionality of the touch screen may not be affected.
